We spoke with three nutrition experts about how they’re finding fiber in the food you eat and how they think it can be an important part of your diet.

The scienceThe term “fiber inulin” has its origins in the 1930s, when scientists began to discover the potential for a molecule to bind to a protein called phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase.
